WELCOME TO AEAWA

The Australian Eurasian Association of Western Australia (AEAWA) was formed in 1989.

It was originally known as the Eurasian Club of WA, with the objective of promoting social activities and goodwill among migrants from mixed Asian and European ancestry, many of whom originated from Singapore and Malaysia.

Membership is now open to all members of the wider community, no matter what cultural background or country of origin.

The AEAWA’s activities are organised by a number of very active sub-committees; Community, Seniors, Functions, and Catering. The Association’s functions, including its monthly luncheons and quarterly dances, are so well attended that at times there are waiting lists for tickets.

NEWSLETTERS

The monthly newsletter is the Association’s main form of communication to its members and includes much-awaited information such as the menu for the monthly luncheon! The members do the catering themselves, often preparing specialty dishes from their rich cultural Asian and European culinary heritage.
